88mates ("we") takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and how you can control it.

Storage and security
Your data is stored securely via Supabase (AWS infrastructure). We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all communications.
Data sharing
If you enable location sharing, your city and approximate distance are visible to other community feed members. You can disable this at any time from the app. No precise GPS coordinates are transmitted.
Cookies
We only use cookies essential to the app's operation (login session). No advertising cookies.
Work Ready Profile (public)
If you activate your Work Ready profile, the following information is publicly accessible on 88mates.com: first and last name, profile photo, nationality, age, city, availability, skills, qualifications, farm experience, language and English level.
This profile can be shared via link or printed as a CV. You can deactivate it at any time from the app — it then becomes invisible to employers.
Employers viewing your profile can contact you directly via the contact details you provided (e.g. email or WhatsApp if listed).

Job listing storage
Job listings are stored in our Supabase database (AWS infrastructure). An expired listing (past end date) remains in our database for statistical purposes but is no longer displayed publicly. To request deletion of a listing, contact us at contact@88mates.com.
ABN and verification
The ABN entered is used solely to pre-fill the business name and location via the public ABR (Australian Business Register) API. It is not used for any other purpose or shared with third parties.
Analytics & tracking
We use Meta Pixel (Facebook) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This involves collecting anonymised browsing data (pages visited, events) via a third-party cookie. You can opt out of this tracking via Facebook's privacy settings or by using an ad blocker.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Delete my account). Deletion is permanent and results in the removal of all data associated with your account.
Your rights
You can at any time:
